Partner with Shift4

• Referrals must be made via the online form or with your unique URL in order to be attributed.
• The referred merchant must not be an existing Shift4 customer.
• The referred merchant must transact a minimum of $10,000 in turnover within the first 30 days of transacting.
• Payments follow a tiered system based on the referred business's turnover in the first 30 days, up to a maximum of $1,000 per referral:
  • $10,000–$19,999 = $100
  • $20,000–$29,999 = $200
  • (and so on, adding $100 per $10k tier)
  • $100,000+ = $1,000 (max)
• The referring and referred merchants must have different ABNs, or the referring party must be an approved Referral Partner of Shift4.
• The referral payment is made per new merchant, not per site.
• Shift4 reserves the right to alter the referral bonus amount at its discretion at any time.
• Any referral and/or cashback bonuses will be deposited into the referring partner's bank account listed with Shift4.
• At any time, Shift4 can terminate the Referral Partner relationship.
• Effective Date: Applies to all referrals submitted via the form or through your Shift4 PoC from June 1, 2026. Prior submissions are honored under legacy T&Cs. For enquiries on prior referrals, please contact your sales rep or email us here.

Additional Terms & Conditions

• The referred business must not have used Shift4 in the last six months.
• The referred business cannot currently be an active customer, existing lead or prospect in our CRM system. 
• Reward is not paid if the referred business shares the same ABN as an existing Shift4 merchant.
• The referred business must sign a minimum 24–36 month agreement, successfully install the POS system, and process the expected TTV per month.
• Cancellation fees apply (to referred merchant).
