Incentive Amount
(referral partner “you”)

Your referral bonus will be paid based on the projected Total Transaction Value (TTV) per annum (pa) derived from the first three (3) months of the referred merchant's transaction volumes.

A$1,500: Projected TTV is less than A$1,800,000/pa but greater than A$120,000/pa.
A$3,000: Projected TTV is A$1,800,000/pa or above.

Qualification

The referred business must process the expected TTV per month within the first three (3) months from their first transaction date. If a business fails to meet this threshold, a referral bonus will be assessed and paid/not paid at the discretion of Shift4 Australia.
The referral partner and the referred merchant must operate as separate legal entities and possess completely distinct Australian Business Numbers (ABNs). Self-referrals or referrals between entities with shared controlling ownership are strictly prohibited.
The referral program applies strictly to net-new merchant acquisitions. Accounts undergoing a change of ownership or opening a new site are explicitly excluded from qualifying for a referral bonus.

Who Can Participate

Any partner is eligible to submit to be a referral partner with Shift4.
To submit a referral, you must provide the required personal details for Shift4's review.
Once approved, you will be listed as a ‘Shift4 Referral Partner’ and provided a dedicated referral link.
By submitting a referral, you expressly consent to Shift4 collecting, holding, and processing the personal information provided in the referral form. Shift4 will retain your details for the full duration of the assessment period and until a final decision regarding the assessment and payout of the referral bonus has been reached and executed. If a referral bonus is paid, Shift4 may retain your data for the period required to comply with our financial reporting and tax obligations.
There is no limit to the number of genuine referrals a referral partner may submit. However, all referrals must represent legitimate, qualified business leads with whom the referral partner has a direct or professional relationship. Mass, unsolicited, automated, or random submissions (including scraping public directories or search engines) are strictly prohibited. Engaging in such practices will result in the immediate rejection of all submitted leads, forfeiture of any pending payouts, and permanent disqualification/barring of the referral partner from the Shift4 referral program.
Where duplicate referrals are submitted by different partners for the same business, only the first submission received by Shift4 will be eligible for payout.

Payment Process

Bonus payouts are processed on an automated monthly payment cycle following the completion of the initial three (3) month performance assessment period. As payments are executed in scheduled monthly batches, final payout will occur within thirty (30) days after the close of the 90-day assessment window (up to 120 days total from the merchant's initial processing date).
